The Orana Care System fully integrates with ACF Software aged care management modules covering areas such as resident billing, rostering, payroll, trusts bonds, training module and
so on. You select what modules best suit your facilities needs- either as a standalone module
or as part of a fully integrated aged care system.

Orana Care System

This module provides you with ALL the necessary forms assessments care plans etc to
manage a resident’s care needs:

  • Over 50 holistic assessment and clinical forms- e..g sleep, weight, fluid balance, spiritual/cultural assessment, pain assessment and monitoring forms to name just a few
  • 50 care plan topics- you choose what is specific to your residents. Main focus on behaviours 20 behaviour commonly seen in aged care e.g. hallucinations, depression, maniac behaviour etc
  • 3 care plan layouts-you choose what suits your needs
  • Computerised progress notes- no more headaches trying to decipher other peoples handwriting!. Totally secure- unable to delete any entries’
  • Links to other associated documents e.g. Wounds, X Ray reports and so on
  • Report builder-creation of individualised reports quickly e.g. next of kin, pension details, RCS due dates and many more
  • Label creator- create your own customised labels in minute

Orana Resident Management Module
This module maintains all details for the resident. This includes admission/discharge details,
Next of kin, resident photos, funding information and much more

Information only entered once -automatically exported to other areas of program
when required.

Orana Incident Tracker
This simple program enables you to electronically collect information re incidents in an
aged care facility. Identify issues before they become bigger problems. The simple report building feature enables you to break incidents down into day of week, time of day and so on.

Orana Training Module
This module is aimed at providing you with a complete training program surrounding documentation issues care staff face. It is a train the trainer format to enable you to
conduct in house training sessions by following the accompanying DVD and manual.
This is different to the training associated using the software.


Orana Document Control Module
Kept a track of all your policies procedures and forms from within the software. It maintains a record of when things are due to be revised. Access these forms etc by simply clicking on
the hyperlink to take you to their location in your system.


Orana ACFI Module
Enter all the information required by ACFI and the program will automatically determine the residents rating. It also automatically lodges the claim directly to Medicare through the
E business module This will:

  • significantly reduce staff time required to prepare and submit paperwork
  • reduce the time taken to prepare monthly claiming, eg services can make adjustments
    to claims themselves
  • improve the accuracy of aged care payments and related data
  • provide acknowledgement that forms and information have been received and
    processed by Medicare Australia
  • reduce the need for paper forms
  • alleviate the need for physical storage of claims
