Orana Aged Care started in 1998 and has specialised in the development of the Orana Care System.  Robyn Reid is the Managing Director of Orana Aged Care and is a registered nurse with 25 years experience in nursing- particularly aged care and in the education of care staff.  The system  ensures you receive the correct funding level (be it RCS/ACFI) as well as being accurate enough to identify residents care needs from a holistic perspective.

Aged Care Software was created 25 years ago by Ken Wragg.  Ken has been developing systems For Aged Care since 1984 and has had experience with many of the funding systems ranging from deficit funding through CAM/SAM, RCI, RCS and now ACFI. Ken has vast experience in all areas of Aged Care and specialises in Payroll and Rostering.

Ken Wragg - Ken is managing director and primary customer support contact. Ken has been developing systems For Aged Care since 1984 and has had experience with many of the funding systems ranging from deficit funding through CAM/SAM, RCI, RCS and now ACFI. Ken has vast experience in all areas of Aged Care and specialises in Payroll and Rostering and financial systems.

Margaret Wragg - Marg is a nurse with 15+ years experience in Aged Care and is an integral part of our care plans (Orana) team, Margaret is available for training and consultation on RCS and ACFI and is an experienced trainer in documentation and funding issues, Care plans and quality systems.

Robyn Reid - Managing Director of Orana Aged Care which commenced operation in 1998, Robyn is a registered nurse with over 25+ years nursing experience. Robyn is the creator of the Orana Care System which has been refined over the last 10 years with input from clients and is also an experienced trainer in documentation and funding issues Robyn has had numerous articles published in aged care journals and has spoken at a number of aged care conferences about Aged Care Issues. Robyn has also gained much experience as an aged care quality assessor and has conducted many site audits as team leader and member over the years. Robyn is available to assist in the  installation, implementation and training of the Orana System as well as advising facilities on best practice surrounding clinical and documentation issues.

Antony Brown - Antony is our on site systems support tech who specialises in networking systems. Antony also plays a major part in the development of our Aged Care Systems and has extensive programming and software development experience and a wide knowledge of the Microsoft .NET environment.

Geoff Spillane - Geoff is a highly qualified programmer who is responsible for the Medicare E-Business systems integration. Geoff has many years experience as a programmer and support officer and is highly skilled with Clarion and Microsoft development tools. Geoff is a welcome recent addition to the ACS Team.

Dianne Powell - Dianne is a registered Nurse and former Director of Nursing, Dianne's role is installation and support of the Orana Care System.

Janine Brooke - Janine is a long standing team member who specialises in installations, training and help desk support. Janine has been an integral part of the team for over 10 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in all accounting facets of Aged Care in both the private and charitable sectors. Janine is also available for payroll and Billing processing and consulting.

Our program is:

  • Simple - staff from ALL education and cultural backgrounds can master the program very quickly- it is written in everyday language
  • User friendly - minimal computer skills are required to operate the program
  • True Integration - the same resident and staff data bases are used in both programs Orana and Aged Care Software. Hence if a residents details are altered while the Orana program is open this change will be reflected in the Aged Care Software Resident Billing Module and vice versa
  • Short Implementation Time - A wizard installs the program within a few minutes and once resident’s details are recorded a care plan can be created straight away.  
  • Training Module - The Orana Training Module is unique because it is aimed at providing you with the resources (DVD and training manual) to provide in house education sessions for care staff on WHAT and HOW to document. This training is different to that associated with the installation of the software. No other software vendor is providing this service.
